Dance is her other artistic passion, and she toured extensively throughout Europe before retiring and heading to the United States. Since relocating to the U.S., she employed her graphic arts talents at Univision Broadcasting, wherein she responsible for graphics for all of the Houston based radio stations. Most recently, she worked behind the scenes of CMT TV's new hit show, Trick My What hosted by John Schneider. Additionally, she enjoys coordinating showcases and producing video and print promotions. Elisabet has a soft spot for children and donates a significant amount of time and skills to the Down Syndrome Association of Houston (DSAH). Because she believes there’s an artist in everyone, she holds complimentary art classes to the kids of DSAH. Putting her graphic designs skills to great use, she redesigned the DSAH logo. For her numerous contributions to the organization, Elisabet was recently recognized as the 2011 Artist of the Year. Active in the Houston art community, Elisabet collaborates with the Museum of Cultural Arts in Houston (MOCAH) and is a member of the Queens of Creativity – an alliance of artists that support the arts through service, outreach and professional development. Elisabet's work has been on display at the Lori Betz Gallery, Museum of Cultural Arts Houston, Charming Charlie Recycled Jewelry Art Exhibition, and the Museum of Afro-American Culture. In addition to her current gallery, she is also available for commission of personal collections, belly casting, media set up, decoration or corporate décor and graphic design.
